Unfortunately the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund and my entertainment for the past couple of weeks has come to an end. On the 11th of November, CFDA/Vogue named the winner and the two runner ups of the fashion fund.

I really don't want to give too much away but I think the right person won and I was secretly rooting for him/her throughout the whole competition.

The winner receives $300 000 for his label and a mentorship from an industry veteran. The runners up also receive $100 000 for their labels and mentorship.

Usually in competitions, the judges always say that everyone comes out a winner. Well in some cases that phrase does not apply, but it does in this case. Past runner ups and contestants have managed to make a name for themselves and even showed at this past New York Fashion Week.

It might take long for the winner to be recognised in fashion circles but which label was ever became popular in their first year?
