One of the biggest roles women play is home-maker. Everyone has a mother and they usually manage the whole family. Without a mother there is no family. Now imagine being the home-maker of a royal family. Not only are you raising children, you are raising the future of a monarchy. Many women have not only successfully raised monarchies but have also changed countries all over the world. Let's review some Women In Royalty.

Princess Grace of Monaco
An American Actress who became a Princess and Royal Icon. She was credited for bringing glamour to Monaco and making their presence known to the rest of the world.
Many will remember Grace Kelly for her fashion style (Hermes' Sac à dépêches renamed Kelly Bag) but she has had many foundations and even hospitals named after her.
Now it's up to former South African Olympic Swimmer, Charlene Wittstock, Princess of Monaco to continue the legacy Princess Grace left behind.

Princess Diana of Wales
Princess Diana was and is most probably one of the most famous Royal women in the world. She was known for her fashion sense and philanthropy. Not only was she a royal and philanthropist she was a celebrity. Most will know her as the most photographed women of the '90s and most will blame photographers for her death. She inspired and influenced the lives of many women in the world and still does. Next in line to continue on her legacy is her son's wife, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.

Queen Rania of Jordan
Not only is she a beautiful queen but she is also dedicated to bettering education systems all over the world. The wife of Abdullah II of Jordan doesn't spend her days being a pampered Queen she servers on several corporate boards and raises her children. In actual fact Queen Rania is the type of woman many aspire to be it's just that she has the title Queen in front of her name. Now we no longer think of Royal Women as women who just sit around and wait for servants. They too have jobs and careers and are adding value to the world.

I have mentioned very few Royal Women in this post. To me, the women I have mentioned are the ones whose impact and influence is still strong in society. Other Royal Women who made an impact in the world are
  • Nefertiti, Queen of Egypt
  • Cleopatra, Queen of Egypt
  • Elizabeth I, Queen of England
  • Mbande Nzinga, Angolan Queen.
